Terms and Conditions

• I fully understand that Just Twirl Dance Studio, LLC Staff members are not medical physicians practice physical therapy of any kind. With that in mind, I hereby release the Just Twirl Dance Studio, LLC to render temporary first aid to myself (student) or my child in the event of any injury or illness, and if deemed necessary by the Just Twirl Dance Studio, LLC. Staff members, whether paid or volunteer, access to any healthcare facility or hospital, or the calling of an ambulance for the student should the staff deem this to be necessary.

• We the Staff of Just Twirl Dance Studio LLC recognize our obligations to make our students and parents aware of the risks and hazards associated with dancing. Students may suffer injuries, possibly minor or serious. Twirling, Dancing, Leaping, Tumbling, Stunts, Kicking, Running, Jumping and Acrobatics all can be dangerous and may lead to injury, The studio will not be responsible for participants before practices or after classes/practices are completed. Parents and students should be aware of the possibility of injury, and we encouraged students to follow all the safety rules and the coaches’ instructions thoroughly.

• At Just Twirl Dance Studio LLC. Its Coaches and other staff members will not accept responsibility for injuries sustained by any students during Twirling, Dancing, Leaping, Tumbling, Stunts, Kicking, Running, Jumping, and Acrobatics or during any exhibition, competition, or event in which he/she may be participating/ or while traveling to or from event.

• With the above in mind and being fully aware of the risks and possibility of injury involved, I consent to have my child or myself (student) to participate in the programs offered by Just Twirl Dance Studio LLC. I waive and release all rights and claims and damage that I or my student have against the Just Twirl Dance Studio LLC. and or its representatives whether paid or volunteer

• I also affirm that I now have and will continue to provide proper hospitalization, health, and accident insurance coverage which I consider adequate for both any student’s protection and my own protection.

• I also understand that it is my responsibility as the parent to educate the student about the danger of dancing and injury. The parents should warn the student according to what the parent feels is appropriate. Just Twirl Dance Studio LLC. will only warn the student through “SAFETY MESSAGES” and teaching style and progressions.

​

• We ask parents to refrain from participating during our scheduled practices, unless their invited by the Director to help manage distractions. Our staff believe in unity, and we will help each other to create the best teams possible. We expect our students and parents to do the same. If parents need to speak to the director, please call before practice begins or after practice ends.

 

 

Rules and Regulations

 

• Schedules: A schedule will be sent out prior to all students and parents to designate the Time and Location of practices and events, underaged students must be picked up on time once class has been completed at the time and location provided beforehand. Late Pickups will be charged.

• $1.00/min. This fee must be paid upon arrival. No Exceptions! Please call us in advance!

• Sign In & Out: Each participant must sign IN & OUT each day. Parents are encouraged to list an alternative guardian, who will be allowed to pick up their child from dance classes.

​

• Food and Snacks: Each student will need to bring a snack or a lunch each day throughout the entire program. Please contact and inform The Director if special arrangements need to be made.

​

• Valuables: Please do not bring valuables to practice. Just Twirl Dance Studio will not be responsible for any lost items.

​

• Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Slots are held once payments are received.

​

• Payments: If the student will not be attending dance instruction at any time or for any reason, tuition payments will still be due. Payments should be made in advance, or participants will not be able to continue the program until their tuition is paid in full.

​

• Early Dismissal: Team Members will not be allowed to be pulled out of classes early (Only in the event of an emergency). Note: if a student is pulled from classes early, and it begins to affect their progression and performance, they will not be able to participate in upcoming events, shows, or appearances. (sidelined)

​

• Being Absent: It Is Mandatory for the parents or students to contact JTDS if their child or if student will be absent from class. Emails are acceptable.

​

• Withdrawals: A two-week notice is mandatory if the student will be withdrawn from the dance program.

​

• Behavior Guidelines: JTDS will NOT TOLERATE Misbehavior. Students will not remain in the program if they continue to misbehave or be disrespectful towards our Team Members.

​

• Profanity and Foul Language: Absolutely NO use of inappropriate language or fighting with Team Members or fellow students will be allowed.

​

• Holidays: JTDS will be open during regular scheduled hours “Except” for the following holidays: MLK JR. Birthday, President’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

​

• Visitors: Will not be allowed in the studio during classes. Visitors are only allowed if approved by the director of the program.

​

• Practice Uniforms: Must be always in complete uniform. Team Shirt, Team Shorts, White Socks & Solid White tennis Shoes. NO’ jewelry allowed & NO” open toe shoes or sandals. Participants are allowed to change out to practice uniforms if needed. If the student is not dressed properly, they will not participate in any classes and or sporting activities.

​

• Practice Uniforms Cont’d: Uniforms can only be worn in JTDS sanctioned events. If student wears the uniform in an outside league, the parent will be responsible for all expenses due to wear and tear. If the student is a returning member, new uniforms and equipment will be provided at a cost to the Student or Parents, Parents and Students must purchase a replacement as needed. All uniforms will be periodically updated throughout the season. Additional cost may apply if extra uniforms are ordered during the program due to practice, performances, and events.

• Personal Articles and Items: PLEASE label all Items: Bags, hats, coats, etc. Students should not bring toys, trading cards, sporting equipment, cell phones, electronic items, or pets to practices.

​

• Safety Awareness: Please be aware of the possibility of injuries we encourage all students to follow all safety rules and guidelines.

​

• Media Release:​ I understand that my child may be photographed during the Just Twirl Dance studio program. I grant full and unlimited permission to the Just Twirl Dance Studio program and its agents and affiliates, to use the participant's’ name, photograph or any other record of participation in this activity in any social media, marketing, broadcast, telecast, for promotional purposes, without compensation, by placing my initials here.
